Whose Gospel is it anyway?

Whose Gospel is it anyway? Is it our gospel? The apostle's? In Mark 1: 14-15 it says :14 Now after John had been taken into custody, Jesus came into Galilee, preaching the gospel of God,
15 and saying, " The time is fulfilled, and the kingdom of God is at hand; repent and believe in the gospel." Mark 1:14-15 (NASB)
Aside from the Bible, this book has had the most influence in my Christian walk. It will totally reinform your view of the Gospel and it will also bring insight into just what it means to say you are a Christian. Dr. John MacArthur has written a masterpiece of polemics. For example, the first page has this statement:

"The belief that someone could be a true Christian while that person's whole lifestyle, value system, speech, and attitude are marked by a stubborn refusal to surrender to Christ as Lord is a notion that shouldn't even need to be refuted."
